Y'all have convinced me to build one of these things. I'm picking up a project from here on RCC and can't wait to get started on it!

Sorry for Jackin your thread ,,I just am excited about building this thing ,And would also thank everybody for postin there Willy's, It has helped me alot with building my own, Willy's... I will start my own post ,,KMS

Got it from a fellow rcc member for $50. Great price after seeing them go for over $100 on fleabay. But if someone has the older ones with no chassis or steering for the right price. I'll take em. I figured out a pretty sweet chassis for them.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of weight are most of your rigs? I'm guessing with a cage and a driver, they're well over 10 lbs? I'm trying to gauge what kind of foams I may need for this pig. :ror:

Mine weighs in at 15 lbs! I'm using the stock foams in the RokLox without any issues.

Whoa! That's more than I expected. No wonder motors are prone to overheating in these things. :ror: I always thought RC4WD foams were pretty useless considering how overly stiff they are, but maybe this is their true calling! I'm glad I kept some of those foams now. "thumbsup"

David This is my thought .....http://www.crawlerinnovations.com/i...roduct_id=127&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=63
Then put these on the ,,outside,, inside ,,of each tire ,,,http://www.crawlerinnovations.com/i...category_id=9&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=63
This is what I have planned to do soft centers for straight up,, hard walls for side hilling ,,What you think,,,Robert "thumbsup"
OOP'S ,,,,,soft out side ,,,firm inside ,,on the dual stage foams ,,Wrong link on the first link ,Didnt get much sleep last night gun shots from the front of the house ,,,You have to go to the kms post to see what Iam talking about ,,,LOL
