Humpty Dumpty (Hobao DC-1)

I have not given this Rig enough credit... I've only seen it in Ads, and Quick mentions on YouTube. This seems to be a quite Capable Rig, with some serious potential !!
Knowing about the Shocks, will help out quite a few people as well.

I've got to really thank you for the "Nerdy" bit!! "thumbsup"
I'm a Retired Auto Technician, but my Speciality was Engines and Transmissions..... When it comes to Suspension Setup, I'm DUMB as a Brick!!! Just that little bit about Link Angle adjustments and setting Anti-Squat up, was absolutely invaluable to me!!! I'm going to try to apply some of that information to my Wraith, and my Bargain Basement Rigs. See if I can't improve the Climbing Performance.

One thing... In the first post, you mentioned that the Tires were TOO SOFT! (BTW, thanks for NOT being another who wasn't taught the difference between "TO" and "TOO"!!!)
Anyway, is there such a thing as too SOFT of a Tire? Although, did you mean the Thread Compound was too soft, or is it that the Sidewalls were collapsing, because the Foams were too soft? Sorry for not completely understanding. I think too much!!

And GOOD JOB on the first Comp with it! That's very good for not yet being fully comfortable with it.

The tread of the original tire is a bit of a weird one, more like a road tire. The original foams are really really soft and will fold under.

Yay, I found a nice rocky place to drive around from about 2km away from my home. No more of those pesky 30+ min rides to find some proper rocks! "thumbsup"

Great post! I just bought a new DC1 RTR and included in the box was a new package of CVD’s. I assume they are including them because of the issue you found?
