It's refreshing to see something cool at Walmart for a change.

I've been modding mine.

I raised the upper shock mounts to lower the center of gravity and allow more droop and stuff.

This is my second one. I blew up a driver side outer shaft yesterday.
I do hope spares are available soon.
I was tinkering with the idea of putting my spare frone axle in the rear.

did you cut your front fenders?

Yes he did. I think he put the same pic on pirate4x4 and said he did.

Yep I did.

I after moving the shocks up I have way more suspension travel.

I still need to cut the front fenders more.

I also need to get longer shocks or ad limiting straps :D

What shocks do you guys think will work with these things. I am completely unfamiliar with Rc crawler parts. I could talk all day about real jeeps.

Well if you check these out, you'll see that they really aren't "shocks" they actually just hold the springs in place. I think this could benefit from installing a set of real shocks. They will need to be big, the only ones I can think of offhand are the ones off a savage. I have never used them, but I know they are pretty long.

Search around a little you should be able to find lengths posted up for them.

Does anyone have any 1:6 vids? And should i buy one now or wait until u test it some more and then buy one so i dont get a old out dated modle with weak parts?

I doubt an updated model will come out for a few months. Think about how long the intitial shipment took/is taking. Future shipments will take just as long, plus development/tooling time.

Just get one now so you can stop asking questions

LMAO!

You posted that the same time I did.

Too funny!

I broke mine today.
My steering servo or gear went bye bye.
Also the ground clearence just blows.
It catches everything.
Now that I broke it, I guess its time to mod it.

Think you just convinced me to go grab one on my way home. Been trying to fight the urge until payday, but I think I should have a BIG toy to play with during my temporary retirement :)

took off the front and rear skidplates and rocker guards so now it can climb up and over a curb like its no big deal works a 100 times better
