09.15.13 The Crawl Space TTC @ Chicago Forks.

Currently there are no passable roads out of the North side of Longmont. Until there are there is no legal way for me to get there. I say legal because I could get there in the big blue truck, but the police won't let me. :ror:

Until the river goes down and the roads open up there is no way for me to go.

I'm still good with this weekend. But the flooding hasn't been that bad at my place.

Morrison is flooded if you have to move the TTC. :ror:

Don't you have plans for next sunday? ;-)

See reply below "thumbsup"

Alrighty gang, I spoke with the city of Idaho Springs, CDOT and the guy at Smokin Yards BBQ. The river up the valley is running fast with minor road clean up, other than that its route is clear to the site.

Like I said before we want this event to happen, with safety being a major factor on the decision and as it stands at this point its looking like a go.

We don't want anyone to miss out but by the response to this event we will be planning TTC events every 3 months "thumbsup"

EDIT
Drivers list has been updated, @oleminer you are on the list :)
I will be heading to the site early Sunday morning, if there are any issues I will post up/call and we can go from there.

Does anybody know if I will have issues getting to the airport from the TTC site? I have a flight in the afternoon.

If you go East out on 3rd, you can get onto E Ken Pratt, and take that back to the south end of Longmont. I got stuck on Nelson last night, and spent the night at a friends house. This morning we hit every road block going north starting at Hygiene and then working east. I finally got home by taking 3rd back to Lashley and heading north. This of course happened this morning, but more rain is expected through the weekend.

Stupid flood

just a little 'day before TTC' testing "thumbsup"

I got hailed on up at tincup

I'm out. I've been working as hard as I can and both trucks still need work.
I accidentally plugged in my BEC power connector backwards and blew up all three BEC's in Guido. No way I can have three more waterproofed and installed before tomorrow. I feel like something is telling me not to go.

Have fun guys. I hope there is another TTC I can go to. For now I am planning on the Grand Junction Adventure though.

Bummer! We already have another TTC scheduled for some time in December. hope you can make it to the Grand Junction event, the terrain looks awesome "thumbsup"

UPDATE.
We took a quick trip up the hill and the roads are completely clear to the site "thumbsup"

The river is running only 6-8" higher than normal which will make all the water courses even more fun!

There is a 40% chance of light rain in the morning so besides that get your rigs ready and some sleep and we'll see everyone in the morning bright and squirrelly!

Well I found my way  Thanks too all who put this on and letting us run. Hands down one of my funnest times yet
