Workbench - Take Two

I didn't get as far on my workbench reorganizing as I would like... got 3/4 of the way there, and got sidetracked by a bunch of projects. I can make a huge mess very quickly... :) While building my TLT I was doing way more digging for parts than building, so it was time for a cleanup!

This is actually fairly clean...lol.

The great sort begins. Every few years I take a few hours and re-sort all my hardware and small parts. After I finish a project, I usually just toss all the leftover bits into a bin and sort them out later. After 3 years, the bins are getting pretty full! All three of these containers are filled with random parts/hardware.

And so begins a 7 hour marathon...I sort hardware by type and size, and pull away all the random spacers, ball ends, light pods, rod ends, links, turnbuckles, shock parts etc. into their respective bins. Takes forever.

Finally, I have a full hardware bin again, and got my tools re-organized as well. Found my 1.5mm 1/4" driver bit in the pile, which sparked the entire cleanup.

Workspace is nice and clean again! Just in time for winter build season.

My "photo area" is still a mess. Lots of containers to use up here. I still want to re-organize a lot of my storage, hence all the bins.

I haven't done much over here, this is my paint table and it's due for a cleaning and I might build some shelves into the back. Trail gear and more projects hiding over here.

The tool cart... comes in handy, all my tools are on this wheeled cart. I move it around to wherever I'm wrenching.
