Any recommended scx6 "sized" shocks? Don't have a weight yet but I'm pretty sure I'll be a tad heavier than an scx6 but where's a good place to look for 6th scale dual rate coilivers for a heavier than normal rig?

Also I'd like to learn as much as possible about setup. I'm lost on how a coilover gets it droop and I don't want a bro dozer looking rig

wanting to build another 6er

Losi LST, 2, XXL shocks are GIGANTIC but no dual rate iirc.

im using 1/10th scale internally sprung shocks on my 1/6th and they look good the size is just right that rig is on leaf springs and only has about 3/4 of a inch of axle traval so shock traval isent important on my rig
most 10th scale shocks are way to big for 10th scale rigs anyway whens the last time you saw a 10" shock body on a jeep

1/8 scale buggy shocks should fit the bill, keeping with the shorter length and larger bore. As for those Savage shocks, I run the standard plastic body shocks on my builds, go fast class 1 cars and my Bomber, big bores look a little thick for a 1/10-1/8 scale rig. They are on my 1/7 buggy that is only a 80% roller project that I don't have time for. Look for that in the non-crawler section somewhere. I run them in the middle of my trailing arms giving me anywhere from 4"- 5" of travel. Worth a second look imho.

After doing some quick math, 2.5" 1:1 shock body is actually scaled to about a 10mm body. This is the regular size of most of RC4WD shock bodies. 120mm length shocks are about 4.75" E2E. I don't know how big the SCX6 shocks are, so I don't know how they compare to the 1/10 scale shocks.

To my knowledge the SCX6 shocks are 150mm.

Those are sweet but I'm not going that full tilt for bypasses. But their regular SCX6 coilovers look decent.

we need more large scale stuff
