Impresive builds.

Seen your builds and I definitely dig them. I have been pushing off a king hauler rig for some time now and I think the time has come. You have put together a few ideas I was thinking and now that I see it I think I might just have to eventually try them myself. Keep up the good work. I hope to have some thing you can see some time soon. Where did you get the cat motor."thumbsup"

Thanks a lot dood! Good luck with the build. BTW, I go the motor from Amazon.com."thumbsup"

Got motivated to work on this truck again. I decided to go a new route with the over all look, more of a "show-ish" truck. I cut off the sleeper cab and lower the cab about .4".

Got the back of the cab filled in and cut out the previous sun roof shave job, then filled it in again.

Used a axial trans as a transfer case(if that what this unit is called in a 1:1, I am not sure). Had to do this because the frame is so long and having a day cab. I still need to make a cover to seal the case.

Got some more body work today. Also starting shaving the stock headlight buckets, got some new ones coming in the mail this week.

Looks like a carrier bearing to me. A massively oversized one  I use spare bellcrank housings for those ;-)

Daycab needs a back window.
Duh, its a carrier bearing....sorry brain fart. I have a alum bellcrank I could use but was saving it for my plans on adding extra axles.

As for the rear window, I know, just making it easy for me to sand down the back bondo work.

Is it just me or is it almost impossible to find spare parts for this rigs.:mrgreen:

Looks good, Justin. Keep it up! 8)

Thanks man, I better hurry I want to get this thing done before a local July hobby show in my area.

Got he body work almost done, just a few things left before paint tomorrow(painting frame, axles and etc too.) Got a another steering axle installed, it just clears the driveshaft. Also got all the holes drilled for the lights&horns. Getting closer.:D

Decided to use the long frame for a up and coming project. I swapped in the Globe liner frame, really liking the work truck look with the short wheelbase. Might change the paint up to a two tone, green top and white bottom.

New Pete emblem.

Stole the tires off of the Globe liner too. :)

Got the new rear bumper mounted.

Re: Project: Lloyd (Tamiya King Hauler)...

Yet again, swapped the frame...this time for a regular king hauler frame, but painted it to match the cab. It will be a slow process but I plan on painting all the frame components.:D

I was missing a few parts with the mirrors but I got them mounted.

Picked up some more polished stainless sheets today too. Plan is to put in on the top of the rails for a clean look...I hope. :)

Got new RC4WD super wide tires. I really like them, they fit on the stock wheels just fine.
