Wife’s 2025 g6 build

Debating on if I like the basecamps sliders on here or not. I feel like they fit well and look pretty decent. The door opens with no issues and for the most part they cover the rockers.

I will obviously have to get some new ones for this one, I trimmed the front of the slider to clear the tires on my basecamp.

With a little trimming on the tabs that mount to the belly of the slider, I could probably push them tighter to the body too

Another piece to this puzzle just came in. I’ve been needing this to get the wires all ran, servos hooked up and power this thing on!

Couldn’t ask for much more. This box is sick. Print is 100% perfect. Wish my 3d printer could print like this lol.

Highly suggest getting one. Smithbuiltscale on Etsy.

Tiny update:

Got the bed box mounted and the wires ran to it. I made a 6” extension for the xt60 plug and servo extensions to reach the box and not be pulled tight. Waiting on the shift servos to finish it all off.

Powered it all on and test drove it around the house. Some slight trimming on the bumper is needed but other than that it’s pretty planted, had it on three wheels pretty sideways with no tipping. Shocks could use some love though.

Really makes me happy to stuff all this in the box and close the lid. Out of sight out of mind!

Best thing about it is the body doesn’t have to come off on the middle of the trail to change batteries and the rx is up high so if the rig sees any water it should be fine.
