No problem, Cura also has a preview function, after slicing you can watch the extruder follow the path, layer by layers Sorta boring, but can show an issue if something doesn’t print properly, you can see if it’s the file or the printer screwing up.

Hang up and Drive

how do you you get your 3d print files on to the sd card for your printer to read? i have some files saved but doesn't pop up when i put the sd in the printer, reads the sd but not the files, says they're saved as stl, any help would be appreciated, sorry if not in the proper thread for this convo!

What capacity is the card? My printers, an ender 3pro and a qidi x-one l-2 do not like cards bigger than 32 gigs.

Hood latches is the smallest I have ever printed...

Cool! I wonder if any of you have already printed the entire body on a 3D printer? I think a PLA case would be strong enough.
You must not browse the forums much lol.

I'm just finishing a build that the body, everything on it as well as skid plates and such are all 3d printed. FYI not all PLA is the same. Some is strong enough some is not. No version pla thays dark colored deals with being in the sun during the summer though.

Here's the project I have going, well finishing up now. First attempt at something this big. Have more planned now.

Saw something like this a long time ago and can't find it anymore. These are for Traxxas 4962 big bore shocks I use on an Axial Wraith. Tired of losing spring retainers so copied the idea and created these locking spring retainers. Uses a 2mm screw and nut to clamp to the rod end. Even if the spring retainer pops off the rod end, the screw keeps it from falling off the shock shaft.

Haven't designed any for other shocks yet but editing a few dimensions should make it easy to adapt the design to most shocks.

Been awhile since people posted here. I think this is our biggest general 3D printing thread, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, I haven't touched my Prusa i3 MK3S since 2020. I bought an IKEA Lack table, assembled that last night, brought my dusty and neglected Prusa up from the first floor and set it on this table on the second floor. A roll of silver PLA and orange PETG Prusament were still hung and soaking up all that moisture. The silver PLA was even still in the extruder. Miraculously, the Prusa fired up and auto-unloaded without any issues. I can't believe the nozzle wasn't clogged! Then I started a print with the orange PETG after simply brushing the build plate off with my hand. To my amazement, the print stuck and it started printing. Not a single issue! I know the Bambu is all the rage right now, but I'm a Prusa fanboy, especially after this. It may not be the fastest printer, but it has been the most reliable for me.

On another note, have any of you tried Amolen filament? They are having a sale right now and I'm tempted to try their TPU.

TPU - what's your preferred brand that you've had good experience with?
