What RC parts have you 3D Printed????

I was about to tear down a winch and build a tiny case for it then design a way for it to mount to my front crossmember and then a light bulb went on... Why not build this case into the crossmember. Stuff like this really makes me appreciate 3D printing and all the possibilities it brings.

This will just be a winch down setup so It wont be pulling much weight.

Finished dash. Googled a picture of a guage face and printed it out and glued it in there, looks pretty ok to me.

After a few prototypes...

I finally got a working print. This is my "prototyping" PLA that I don't care about wasting, and once it's finalized, I'll do PETG print. I'm new to 3D printing and Haven't had my PETG prints come out nearly as nice as my PLA, so I'm hesitant to print something like this yet. Here's the model of the part I finally installed. It's a screengrab from my iPhone and didn't turn out that great. Have to do a PC screen grab later.

Building a TRX4 Chassis Kit and I didn't like the bumper that came with it. So I designed one I like better using Freecad then 3D printed it.

This is one of those things that has annoyed me for a long time and I finally got around to fixing it.

The 1.9 Wraith has nothing attaching the body to the chassis after the little M2.6 screws at the bottom of the doors. This handy little mount provides a much needed attachment point to keep the entire back half of the body from flopping around.

Nice! Will you be making that available?

Sure, I have to tweak it a little then I'll throw it up on Thingiverse.

I designed and printed these for 1.9 Wraith. The trans uses the internals from a SCX10.2 and Robinson pinions for the motor to trans ratio.

The motor cover, frame bracket replaces exiting parts and the last part is a reinforcement bracket for the front end.

My first foray into designing stuff, so mine was a really simple model, but it's functional.

Made a chassis brace/extension for the UMG10 so that I could extend the wheelbase of the UMG10 from 288mm to 305mm without having to cut the rear fenders.

Also made spacers to run a doubled-up rollbar of the cage in order to lengthen the body to fit the new wheelbase.

Post to the results of my work - http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axia...0s-toy-cartoon-theme-build-2.html#post6036894

I might need this crossmember. :) What frame rails are these for again?

HPI Venture rails, with a few caveats. The stock motor position wont work and CMS wont work, it needs an axle mounted servo.

What were you wanting to fit this into?

Just wanted to see what applications I could apply it to.

I guess the Enduro and SCX10II already have accomodations for a second servo, but I liked the way yours sat horizontally.

I also have a VS410 chassis kit as well, but that also has accomodations for a second servo.

Body clip leash printed with TPU (flexible filament)

TPU bonds with itself so well that you can really print stuff thin and still have it be quite tough. I realized this when I tried to clean up my first print and well it doesnt just scrape off with your fingernail, you need a sharp knife or flush cutter to do anything.

I really haven't exerimented with more than just this one brand, Push Plastic. I've had good luck running it with default prusa settings but I can only print so long before I get a jam so I've been doing a few prints then I'll run PLA or PETG through the nozzle to clean it out then I'll continue printing in TPU.

What's the best way to mock parts for a SCX10 II chassis? Just wondering if there are models of the chassis out there that I can just build upon. Or if you guys are just busting out the calipers and measuring.

I have these rails I created for mock ups. I uploaded them to Thingiverse.
