What Powers Your Wraith?

In my experience 2s lipo feels about like 7 cell nimh. A little more punch and the level of power in the lipo stays high right to the end instead of the constant steady decline from start to finish with the nimh. So maybe it just *feels* like the 2s has more power. As for 3s.. :mrgreen: You're right it isn't really needed for crawling and trail running, but it's nice to have when you need it.. I rarely go beyond 1/4 throttle when I'm hitting the hiking trails, but when I need it e extra grunt is appreciated. Of course it makes the packs a little bigger and heavier and slightly more expensive..

Thanks for the response. Maybe since I have the NiMh's charger already I'll try a 7 cell.

With the stock tires, i lift one off wheel off the ground on cement/asphalt from a stock with full throttle, and has enough wheel speed to hillclimb sandy washouts/wood chip piles. Crawls decently, there's nothing to crawl on long island, so soon i'm gonna up the pinion to a 22 or 23, toss my paddles on, and go to town at the dunes. just gotta block off the open motor ports.

This combo works Awesome.. I love the 21t motor on 3S... It never even gets much above the outdoor temp that day. 94°f is the hottest Ive seen. Im getting way over an hour out of my lipos when trail running,.
