What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

K10 E6000 drying in place upside down for the evening till tomorrow night when i check it to make sure it sticks. If i was smart enough i would have taken the inner fenders section off and used to stock stuff from easier access. Oh well to late now. Rear end is propt up by some extra tires. Onto the tubs which keeps a nice weight on the E6000 and magnets while it drys up

So unhappy right now. Im going to figure something else out. All the cursing in the world won't fix this. So unhappy :(
Ended up using body post as i don't have enough left to fix it with magnets. Not the way i wants to do it but it was fixed. Repainting the black. Now she is really for Sundays CTC.

Beat the hell out of it for four hours straight at the quarry. Testing out suspension changes and the effectiveness of my weight reduction program.

Marc that looks like a great event! Love the scale camper and barn.

After over a year with the predator hyrax on the trx4, it was time for some new rubber. Also finally picked up a new body to replace the Comanche, but keeping that one under wraps till I figure out the paint.

Boom racing hustlers 4.45 in ‘snail snot’. We shall see how they do.

Well, after two years and a little over 700 hours run time on my #1 TRX4 chassis, I finally had a Traxxas 2065 micro servo fail today. This is the first stock micro servo I have had fail out of 5 TRX4 chassis. Ordered three Blue Bird 373MG analog micro servos from Hobbyking as an experiment.

Went to my second local crawling comp. Tough course with some great competitors. The X4 performed extremely well.

Took it out for a crawl in the rock slide and managed to strip out the gears in my cheap Chinese 32 kg servo. Only used it a handful of times.

So I put in my other 20 kg cheap Chinese servo. Problem solved!

Might be time to consider a better servo. Not sure if I wanna go HH SHV500 or Promodeler 470 or what.

Rebuilt my shocks and greased them up with slime, so they don't stick anymore. Also bought some shiny new wheels. These are the only wheels I have that aren't black.
