What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

Installed the VP front and rear bumper mounts so that I could put the Pro-Line Ridge Line wide bumpers on my Power Wagon.

Then took it to a local spot for a rocky creek fun run:

Although it wasn't today, I tore everything out on Wed. I've been out of the hobby for 2yrs and now getting back in :)

Honcho needs an overhaul done

Took a practice run at waterproofing a sensored motor with conformal coating.
I used an old motor before trying to do the ROC 412, so far it works perfect in sensored mode but I cant submerge it till tomorrow since the coating requires a 24 hour curing period.
At this point I see no issues with it getting wet.
My mmp came out great as well.

Made a few new accessories. Ammo can, lightsaber, coffee mug.

Also reworked my store-bought axe to look better and made up some mounts to fit up my home made shovel.

Lightsaber? Lol

At work I welded some skidplate tabs to my front bumper and sandblasted the rear bumper

At home I painted the rear bumper. Also redoing my battery and other electronics set up which will be made up at work tomorrow

I painted the Powerwagon flat black today and decided to put the old bed to use and made it fit around the honcho flatbed. I need to trim a bit off the fenders still so they don't rub, but overall I think it's neat with the rear fenders and tailgate on with the honcho cage and flatbed.

Of course decals need to be applied as well as removed the window masking which just happens to be the old window decals. Axial was nice enough to send me a new Powerwagon decal sheet to replace the old stickers. yaey for customer service!!!

I just don't feel like putting up pics, haha

Today I got a primary skidplate on. Welded up the holes on the winch plate I had before as I have to move the holes back :(

Hoping we have an oval punch the right size at work so I can make a clearance hole for the winch's fairlead

Put the newly painted rear bumper on

Today I installed my Howler Custom Battery Tray and relocated some electronics. I also adjusted my body posts to where they look nice without having a ton of rubbing.

I picked up my first BEC, just have to waterproof and install. Along with the BEC I invested in a back up motor for my winch.
We're on the same page, I've waterproofed mine.

I've reinstalled it as well but dont feel like resizing another picture.

Woo hoo! Finished my front bumper today. Got the skidplate slotted for the winch's fairlead and came out bitchin'. Redrilled the winch holes, sandblasted, and now 2nd coat of paint is drying. Should be able to install it tomorrow

What was it that you ended up using? I was just going to use liquid tape. That coating looks much better than how the liquid tape usually turns out.
All I use now is MG chemicals 419c-55ml conformal coating.
The stuff is great.
