I chased my daughter's dog away from the Christmas tree with my Honcho today.... kinda mean but worked great.
Haha I hate to laugh at that, but I do hope they will help out with the cost on the new ESC! Here is a puddle I managed to have way too much fun with...

my soldering iron is finished and I didnt have time to get a new one....lesson learnt the hard way
ive left the truck with them, they are going to replace the ESC and the winch for me "thumbsup" but im going to do the soldering this time :mrgreen:

finally got the little details on the body painted using the brushes i got for christmas. looks good to me, a little messy in some places but i did my best spent about 3.5 hours on it lol anyways on to the pics.

checked out a crawl spot suggested by some locals. Fun little spot!
Later that night, i had to rig my snorkel since my cats though the rubber top tasted good and destroyed it. So now i've got a rectangular light bucket on there with mesh on it. Not perfect but it'll do till i can start styrene work
Also, CC Link just came in as well as the BEC. BEC's now set to 7.4 )which will power both the steering servo and servo winch) , and checked that the lipo cutoff was set to on in the AE-2 i picked up used. Turns out it was off. Fail. . .
But now it's back on set to Auto-Lipo

Swapped out the absolute crap HR tow shackles for RC4WD king kong shackles.
My lettering and clod buster roll bar showed up so it's on there. However, the roll bar is nowhere high enough, so this is gonna force me to actually try to make my own.

bought a 3Racing winch for my G6 Rubicon, had the guys a the LHS put on a deans Y cable so i can plug it into my battery. Came home and BAAAM, the guy reversed the wires and i smoked my new ESC :x:roll:
got to love it
learn to solder. save u time money and esc's. sorry to hear that man id ask them to pay 4 it."thumbsup"

Did you remove the power wire from the esc's receiver plug and then plug it into channel 2?
