I got new steel frame rails from my brother for Christmas and am trying to figure out how to mount my deadbolt body to them. They have shock mounts cnc'd on them so I have no place to install my stock plastic shock mounts with body mounts. Plus I ordered some stuff from Rpp Hobby just now, for installation of the new frame build!

I bought my SCX10* a brother!

These SCX10 kits are only $197.99 delivered - couldn't pass that up

See their home page for discount codes --> LINK
Here's the vehicle --> LINK

Will be putting a 35T motor, CC ESC, Hitec waterproof servo and 14T pinion in it - if you spend $399.99 you can get $70 off - killer deal

Woo hoo!

* actually it's my wife's SCX10 but let's not let insignificant details ruin a good time

Wrapped solder around my wheels for weight, installed new stainless beadlock hardware , painted the body.

Racing!

We're having "races" today - weather is finally awesome, family is visiting (I think I stepped on someone in the living room when I got my coffee a minute ago - ha), and I'm going to setup an obstacle course in the yard and we'll use a bracket chart.

We'll be using my Wraith and my wife's SCX10 - I'll post photos later - should be fun.

I figured it's only 7:40 am but drinking egg-nog is sort of like having breakfast - glad I'm not driving the full size trucks today.

Put mine on blocks in anticipation of mounting the new SSD D-hole wheels tomorrow. Foams are in the mail being delivered tomorrow.

I made some chromoly lower links for a buggy project I've had in the works for way too long.

Then I found RPP has a great deal on the SCX G6 kit so I ordered one. First kit purchased in over 10 years.

I opened the SCX10 Dingo box and gazed at all the parts bags, tires wheels,etc.. Then I built the driveshafts and transmission. Looked at the shocks for a while and decided 7mm bore plastic shocks were not worth the effort. So I'm putting a set of Associated Factory Team 10mm bore aluminum shocks and springs on instead. Just waiting on some parts to come in so I can start at the beginning with building the axles. Christmas pushed some of my deliveries back a day or two and I'm in a holding pattern until they arrive.
