Weather conditions and R/C... and other cool R/C related stories.

Yep, I keep forgetting to bring my little temp gauge - gotta see just how hot my motor and ESC are getting - they are to the point to where I can only touch them for a little while before I feel I might burn myself...

Not certain if the Revolver motors can hold up to higher temps or not - the spinning of the outer housing and the big holes in the front would seem to allow them to radiate their heat better than an enclosed inrunner type - maybe I ought to go down a tooth or two on the pinion.

Also, so many comments on the forum state leaving the fan off the Mamba X is fine, so I did - if the temps are insanely high I suppose I can always mount it on there.

Anyway, checking with the gauge will give me some more detailed info to work with!
