Hello guys, first of all sorry for my bad english.
I'm from Brasil and this is the brazilian domestic car that i like the most.
Volkswagen Saveiro "quadrada",...The chassis is a Tamiya TT-01E.

This one is a real. It's a "Summer" version, but is not mine.

Looks a little like the VW caddy except that it seems to be based off of the older pasat station wagon

Ah man I'd kill to have one of those bodies here in the US! 95% of my R/C collection is Volkswagen.

Is this a vintage body, or still produced? I'll be in Brazil for work in a couple months (well, actually my girl will be working, I'll just be there for fun). Maybe I can find some cool R/C stuff while I'm there.

Cool little body, I didn't know they had such a thing.

Pretty unique to get that body style for RC Thiago, never seen them in scale, only real life. I had a friend with a real one in Central America, unfortunately he crashed and flipped it on its lid, that was the end of that little car. Over there you can see the VW Amazon and Polo too.

It's cost R$80,00 reais,...about U$40,00 dolars.

Thanks for the info! I want to order some of their bodies, but they do not sell directly to the public. Maybe I can find a retailer there that carries them, or is willing to ship to the US. If I was able to purchase them while visiting, I don't know if I could bring back 6 bodies on the airplane with me... :ror:
