Well, I finally received the Venture 18 brushless edition last week. It has been on preorder since Dec 10. First impressions and run; I am happy with the purchase. The drivetrain is smooth, suspension feels predictable, and the stock tire seems to grip the rocks.

The first thing needed, paint the turn signal lens. After I painted the rear signal lights, I realized the brake and turn signals are wrong from the factory. The turn signal should be on the top.

They are a nice looking rig . I’m adding it to my “might have to get” list . The painted light lenses certainly make the appearance more scale .
I use an orange or red sharpie.

A little wrenching time this morning. I had some 1.2 black steel wheels left over from my Evo Pro that I put on this morning. Than I decided it needed a CB antenna. SCX24 brass pivot ball and some .8mm spring steel. Had to hand drill the hole through the pivot ball. My fingers cannot do anymore today, I will try and finish it off tomorrow. I was going to make two, but reality set in.
