Well,

I had the opportunity to pick up Josh's KOH Jimmy's chassis a while back and here is the new thread for it. The build can be found here...all 136 pages.

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axia...raith-build-jimmys-4x4-ultra-4-koh-style.html

So the plan is take the killer chassis and salute Vanquish for putting out the best parts on the planet. Neal (Frequeskinz) is pulling together a new set of skins. Lue (Mattzilla) hooked me up with a killer powdercoating job.

Running gear will be top shelf. Best of the best. And of course...loaded up with VP all the way around! Here are some pics of the chassis. Let's just say when it showed up, it had been "Tested!!!"

So then the first step was to break it all down and get things cleaned up.

So that's it for right now. I'll be posting up with some proofs of the skins soon. Thanks again Josh for the chassis and Jerry (The DMG) for bangin out a beautiful chassis."thumbsup"

For those interested...here is the difference between the new bright jeep hood and the Dynamic concepts rubi hood. It's essentially the same at the windshield and wider at the front. Here are some pics.

Cool comparison......I like the NB body better, looks a lil more scale than the other. Plus it is hard plastic.

Sorry guys, those pictures were supposed to go in my other build thread! The Jimmy's is getting the lexan hood. I figure by the time I get the skins on it, you'll be distracted enough. Plus I can't carve up another body just for the hood.:x

Great chassis! The sheet metal work is exceptional. How does the Axial Rubicon body size up to the NB one?

I can't take credit for anything other than slapping a paypal on Harley's' Jerry's rig!

As for the axial Rubicon body...I don't have one. You can surely find it if you look around."thumbsup"
