I'm have been very busy, with so much. But I did find some time to finish my tamiya bruiser. When they rereleased it I was very happy! But after building it some I didn't like the sky high and big tires. I really wanted just a simple scale truck. I had one of the first hilux, and was my favorite RC truck for a long time.
I bought 3 cabs and made a plan bed. Didn't look bad but was not quite what I wanted. Then the bruiser came out and I bought that bed and made it fit. Now I had the truck looking the way I wanted. I drove the mess out of it.
It was stolen out of my car one day, never saw it again.
Now fast forward many and many years latter they make the bruiser again. So after some assembly and not that happy with how it was looking. I sat it on the shelf for a while.
Now we had a TAMIYA TCS race coming to the area and I decided to have my race car make a grand entrance! And boy did it!
I WON THE CONCOURS IN MY CLASS!
I will get some good pictures up soon.
And more details.
Here's a couple of small videos I made when I got home
From the race.

front veiw, i change the axles to the RC4WD yota's. they look some much more real than the kit ones
i changed the rear shock locations, tried to run it with out them and it was too bouncy. made the traile hitch out of a scx10 battery plate.
another veiw of hitch
this is what it looks like in the sun! the paint is real car paint. and a real toyota color...off of a rave 4 i was working on at work. there are NO SCREW HOLES ANY WHERE! on the body.....
the interior has the ultra scale dash and door panels from ebay. i lan on adding lights and lighting the dash. driver is from grindhouse stuntman mike.

i also used some fender weels from noob
and another shot of the wells and the front body mounts...the rear body post are under a rubber mat.
the front body mount on the chassis.
i got the body lower by cuting the radio box down, the bed floor sits on the servos.
the battery is a small lipo. and because i lowered the body down on the chassis i had to stand it up. it goes up be hind the seat.
