Got my smooth skid and can't get it to work with my high clearance links. The upper and lower links are touching. When is that upper link raising kit coming out?

Also, how is this NOT affecting the CG when this skid plate raises the transmission significantly? The angle of the driveshafts are def. increased.

bent lower links may not work with a smooth skid and stock scx10 chassis rails. imo opinon bent/high clearance lower links belong on comp rigs instead of scalers.
our raised upper link mounts are on our SCXHR chassis rails, we suggest picking up our chassis rails( http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/chas...next-evolution-scx10-performance-chassis.html ) or another venders upper link risers if you plan to keep the bent lowers.
or simply go back to straight lower links. or better yet do both."thumbsup"

the smooth skid raises the transmission only 0.1" yet increases center clearance by .3"
our suggestion is to reduce the preload on your shocks, lowering the mass of the truck, yet maintaining or increasing belly clearance at the same time. which lowers CG ;-)

thank you for your purchase. shoot me a PM if you have any other questions. I can go into more detail.

Thanks
Cory

I run bent lowers with the smooth skid and stock chassis with no issues...

Currently grafting a Smooth skid on an old 2009 built Beckworks chassis. Redrilled transmission mounts to make it line up with interior.

Any possibility of a wraith width skid with upper link risers incorporated?

X2 Please.

would be too costly to machine as one piece. no plans for such at this time.
its doable, but the price would be so high no one would buy them.
