I am thinking of using the Traxxas GTS shocks PTFE coated (8260X) on my Scx10.2.

I realize this doesnt come with springs. Whats a good start for spring rate? Thinking the 0.30 (white) on all corners.

im currently in the middle of the build but my scx10.2 has GCM LRT2 Transmission with Curries axles.

What shocks do you run on your scx10.2?

I did a bunch of research and landed on getting the TRX4 GTS as well with the below set up... seems like a lot of people suggest the below which are similar to scx10.2 stock spring rate as the baseline.

<table class="instock-products"><tbody><tr><td>1 x TRA8042 </td> <td class="text-overflow"> Traxxas TRX-4 GTS Shock Springs (0.22 Rate - Yellow) (2)
</td> <td>
</td> <td class="line-item-price">
</td> </tr> <tr> <td>1 x TRA8044 </td> <td class="text-overflow"> Traxxas TRX-4 GTS Shock Springs (0.39 Rate - Orange) (2)
</td> <td>
</td> <td class="line-item-price">
</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2 x TRA8260 </td> <td class="text-overflow"> Traxxas TRX-4 Aluminum GTS Shocks (Silver) (2)
</td> <td>
</td> <td class="line-item-price">
</td></tr></tbody></table>

Thank you. Did you use the stiffer spring in the rear/front?

Stiffer in the rear per this article's suggestions: Scale Crawler Must-Know Setup Tricks & Tips - RC TRUCK STOP

I haven't put them on yet as this is still enroute to my house but... it seems like the safest most repeated set up i was reading others did as a baseline...

So i have no personal experience yet... just from what i am gathering from reading.

Run whatever Axial SCX10.2 springs work best for the weight and desired performance of your truck, they fit the shocks perfectly. I have Axial white springs in the front and greens in the rear on my GTS shocks, mine is a relatively lightweight crawler so all I care about is performance FWIW.
