I'm building a wraith from ground up , so far full vanquish axles and internals, incision steel links, reefs 555 servo, dmg stiffy cage, mip shafts, mamba x, hh 3500kv puller pro 540 standard. Need help choosing transmission. I prefer a drop in but willing to piece together. I'm looking at dlux ham Berger, ssd 2 speed or high ratio, rc4wd 2 speed, or super shafty. What can handle the 3s power the best and give nice power band and punch. I want to make it a u4 rock racer first with some crawlability second. I want something tuneable that i can swap pinion or spur to give me best of both worlds if desired. Also if you recommend the shafty should I go 5mm or 6mm and if I opt for ax10 style which extended output shaft would I need ( front , rear, or both, from what i read I think it's just rear)

I've run a HR aluminum, all metal gear trans with LockedUpRC slipper eliminator on my Wraith for a couple years now. 3S, HH BLE and PullerPro 3500KV. Metal Spur and Pinion. It's not a 2 speed, but if you're running a good brushless system I don't think you want or need the added complexity. You should be able to nail gearing for any particular U4 course with Spur and Pinion selection.

im using a 2 speed in my build yet, i have yet to run it but its the HR 2 speed. On a brushless setup. I just wanted the ability to crawl and switch gears to go fast since i have a bunch of land to play on.
