So I built my son a Wraith for Christmas and used a Trailmaster BLE Pro and a ROC412 3100. They were both used but in excellent condition. Everything worked great from the second I plugged it in, but the drag brake was apparently up at max as he was just about doing endos when he let off the throttle. Not easy trying to tell a 4 year old to ease off the throttle if he wants to come to a stop! Anyway, I go in tonight to program it, and after programming everything to default, except drag brake (20%), I now have no throttle. I've tried re-calibrating to my transmitter numerous times, but still nothing. I get solid yellow at neutral, solid green/flashing yellow forward and flashing red reverse. At times I hear it let out a little grunt like it wants to go forward, but nothing happens. Help?
EDIT: OK, scratch all the above as I have new development. I left it in for information purposes. After I typed it, I went in program mode on the esc and said what I think was "no" to all the programming questions. I assume so because it would automatically go to the next question. I then re-calibrated and the truck was working again, and the drag brake is gone. I'm slightly confused as to what answer I'm actually giving because my throttle is reversed, so when I go into programming mode, I enter through reverse rather than forward. Then, when the questions start, if I hit forward throttle (a "yes" answer?), it moves me to the next option under that question. If I hit reverse throttle (a "no" answer?), it stores my answer and moves to the next question. ((Oh, and I tried reversing my throttle back and entering program mode, and the above scenarios with "no" and "yes" answers reverse accordingly as well)). Does a "no" answer simply confirm you'd like the default setting or?? I want to make sure I have my lipo cutoff, so if I need to go back in and do something, I will. Also, can you skip to certain questions to get to other ones then save and exit program mode without going through them all? I'd like to have a little drag brake. Throttle seems a little more sluggish now too, as does response from forward to reverse and vice versa. I'm sure this is user error and I'm just not answering questions the correct way.
Sorry for the long post! I've never been good at the electronics side of these things!
Thanks!
