Love all the great wheeling pics too.

Okay so I know this is an old thread but I took about a year long hiatus from the game and am just coming back now. So instead of making a new thread again, I decided to justa update this old one.

I went out last week to this new place to start running again. I was only by myself this time but our club is alive and as active as it used to be. I plan to host some group runs like before and maybe make more videos too.

Anyways, too much talking. Here are the "newer" pics

Nice rigs! Are you part of the Crawl AK rc club page on Facebook? I believe we have some people from Juneau.

When the club first started, we used to have group runs almost every week with an average turnout of 7-8 people at a time. The most we've ever had was 21. The club is still there and is as active as it used, it's just that everyone seems like they're doing their own things. I'd love to bring it back up to the way it was [emoji12]

Thank you man!! I just read your whole thread, love the videos! I'm hoping to get our club going. It started out with just me and my scx10. I let one of my buddy drive my other rigs and he was hooked instantly... since then we had 2 more guys join the trail runs... now we got 4 trucks total on the trail.including three scx10ii's an acsender and my LWB tf2 you seen that hasn't seen any trail time yet

It's good to see your tf2 back in action. How are the rock stomper tires working for you ? I almost picked some up for my sawbuck just because of the looks but went with pit bull growlers instead.

I like both tires to be honest and both look great! That being said, both are well suited for the summer as both honestly suck on the snow... I'll be switching out the stompers for maybe some tsl's

Thanks for the updates, always prefer updates to old threads rather than new threads. Glad to see you're back at it and thanks for the great pics, TF2 is looking good!

Wow your TF2 has come a long way i think it was 3 years and 2 month span and looking at the first pic from the recent ones you can tell there is a few new rigs.I like the way you edited your video's to cool scenery, but i have to ask you and not sure if you mention it,but did break anything while trailing this the 3 year span,"So did you break" ,and when go on long runs like that with your buds what would be in your survival gear for parts just in case."thumbsup"
Any plans on painting it...

Thanks! And yes this TF2 has been my go to rig ever since I got it.

As far as breaking anything, the only thing I remember breaking was one of the stock leaf springs. And even then that didn't stop me from running. But then again I don't run my TF2 like I run my scx10 and I like to keep my driving fairly scale I've never had a break down to the point that I can't finish the run (fingers crossed) lol

And about the "survival" gear... well I always bring an assortment of screws since things back out from time to time. And outside of tools and tires I usually don't bring anything else

Paint? Yes I plan on repainting the body... I really want to go blue but at the same time I don't really want red scratches xD

do the 3 or 4 step paint process....

Read this entire thread twice so far. I have a TF2 in my cart on amazon and I keep holding myself back. But its getting harder to not get it on the way. Your pics and videos were very helpful in me making up my mind between An ascender or the TF2. Keep the updates coming!"thumbsup".

Well I dropped out of the hobby for about 8 years lol 🤦🏻‍♂️🥲😅. Life kimd of got in the way. Anyways, I took the TF2 out last summer and then didn't do any RC'ing until just last month. Will be updating this thread instead of making a new one again. Here she is now!

I just realized most of the old pics on here aren't showing anymore. I'll try to figure out a way to post them again, it's been a while!
