Okay so got myself a TF2 RTR and have been having a blast with it! I wasn't sure I'd like the leaf springs at first since I'm coming from an scx10 but I'm loving the realistic approach on this one more than I ever did with my axial.

Anyways, it looked exactly like any other rtr TF2 out there at first:

Then I added some new bumpers and a winch on there as well.

I've also got a bench seat on the way as well as a couple more scale accessories.

I don't plan on making this one too wild, as I'm planning for more of a light trail/street legal realistic look on this one.

I also plan to paint the body either an Orange or a tarnish shade but seeing as it's winter time I'd rather save it for when it gets warmer.

I'll have more pics soon!!

Added some more scale goodies for the TF2!

Got some grade 1.9 and running 1.9 mud thrashers on her. I think this is probably as big as I'm going to go.

Also added a driver and a bed tool box.

Looking really good! I like the wheel and tire combo too. May use those next myself as these Gmade, plastic, 1.9's keep splitting on me. Great job. "thumbsup"

how was the difference in capability with going to the bigger tires, is it really worth going bigger, especially when you doing more obstacles then trailing.

Thanks! I was actually wanting the Gmade slot mags version actually rather than these dish looking ones but now that I've tried them on I think these look perfect!

I haven't actually tried them yet but I imagine the capability increased a little atleast. These tires are a little bit taller and wider for a bit more ground clearance and a wider contact patch. The wheels also add a bit of weight too.
I'll be trying it out this weekend and we'll see.

Here are some pics of my driver!

Hard to capture him in pictures because of the lexan but at least my TF2 won't look like it's being driven by ghost!

I also had my first roll over which is why i am missing side mirrors on some of the pictures. Lol.
I'll also have a video out fairly soon. :)

Looking really sweet there! Yeah I've lost mine quite a few times now too :ror:. Fortunately I've always been able to find them and mount them back on. Looking to get a set of these one day in hopes I won't have to worry about them again. Love the scenery BTW.

Short vid from yesterday :) I'm really loving these wheels and tires. The extra weight added and the size of the tires just seem so perfect to me. These tires also seem softer and stickier than the 1.55s the truck came with.

Looks really good. I noticed an improvement when I weighted my front wheels as well. Will very likely use those wheels next in white.
