The kit you've all been waiting for! This chassis kit is for the scx10.2. Axail did a great job with the new design, but like always I couldn't leave it alone. The heaviest component it the rig is the motor and as well as the stock kit performed I couldn't bring myself to get used to the motor being raised higher than the old kit and also being in the back of the truck. Designing a kit for the rtr would have been easier, but I wanted to get the hard work out of the way first. The new toyzuki version moves the motor closer to the frame than the old version to free up some driveline clearance on the other side for the new high pinion style axles.

The motor mount now houses the first 2 gears of the kit version transmission and the transfer case houses the stock transfer case gears in a new configuration that can be run as an overdrive for the front or you can swap the driveshaft to the other output if your not into that sort of thing. Also with the smaller gear sets in these things, the entire case fits below the chassis rails for an easier interior install.

A few other things changed from the old kit also. The new kit is assembled with nylock nuts and m3x10 button head screws. No more one of a kind hardware that you can't replace with out me sending you more. The servo winch location was moved to the rear behind the axle so the weight hangs well below the center of gravity and you can use an internal or external spool winch. there is still a mount up front for an internal spool winch laid on its side, but the front is also a great place to mount a small lipo or your electronics above or below the servo plate. Sliders are another great place to mount those things. Gray Matter Lab makes some great sliders for both of my chassis that I will add to the build thread soon.

I've put a few months into driving this thing hard and trying to break it. Handed the radio off to all the locals and it always comes home in one piece.

The full kit will be $201.99 shipped in the U.S.A.
Just click the PayPal button to purchase. As always if your not in the U.S. I will just refund your money and send you links to KTM hobby or Locked Up Rc. Working on adding a few more shops to the list too.

if anybody has a contact id appreciate it!!

Hey Patrick, can you do anything to get some gear covers into this kit, or at least as a separate part in your store? I'm soo tempted by this chassis, but the lack of debris protection for the gears is stopping me.

BTW, your Commando winch systems are still all pulling like beasts on my rigs "thumbsup"

You just need to PM Performance 3d Solutions on facebook. $18 shipped.

Problem is that those of us who prefer not to use FB cannot purchase covers from them  I hope that LockedUpRC can get some covers stocked.

Mine is in the mail and I can't wait . This chassis looks so well planned out . I'm a old chassis maker and I know what I takes .

How come you wont ship overseas?

Because I am one man in a garage trying to keep up! Everything outside of the US requires me to get your info, get a quote, respond with a quote, make special payment arrangements, fill out customs paper work, and ship to somewhere that will not provide me tracking info past the border. Distributors like lockedup rc, ktm hobby, and Amain hobbies, get their cut to handle all of those things. They have staff to do so. I spend my time machining!
