Hello guys, after built a Lc70 Lwb Rc4wd my head was fool with this body....

Taken a new body here in the store

I'm a big Toyota fan.... and so I've decided to push my c2 comp rig to a new scale level...
Well a c2 Comp rig isn't a real scale truck but my mind wanted to make something a bit more repro...
So the Rig will be with this parts.....

Toizuky Scx10 2 chassis
Scx10 2 upgraded axles
Tekin elettronics
Lc70 Hard body
my custom 1,9 narrow wheels on 4,75 1,9 tyres

Prologue:

Sanded and glued...

Some differences...

Telaio Toyzuky you can buy here and some infos.. instructions

Chassis built up..
The ToiZuky kit need some more parts from axial so be sure to order them with the kit....

Transmission Unmounted

In the pictures the added axial shaft and some 3D printed optional parts

Transfer case with overdrive ability...

Amazing vanquish grease ...

Can you describe how you glued the bed back together?

Hello Neilus...
the process is simple but you must be very careful...
As in pictures you can use a paper tape to mask the line where you will cut your bed...
the vertical lines must be orthogonal go get a perfect joint when you will stick the parts together...
If you will make same as mine consider that maybe 5mm longer bed will be better cause this was made initially for a c1 so for smaller tyres and this cut position is just at limit....
I dont use glue but solvent as plastic weld etc... those works great on abs bodies
to cut i use Tamiya saw thart is very thin and make perfect lines after practise
feel free to ask more if you need..

I've been waiting on a bobbed 70. I think it looks fantastic. "thumbsup"

"thumbsup"tks

Here is the chassis and some tricks...

Crawler innovation inners comp cut..

TThis is a trick to mount the chassis without pain and troubles..
use a vise...

just in place....

Height adjustable 2 position front Transmission

Derlin skid..

Thanks for detailed reply, very helpful. I was really asking what methid you used to join the bed back together on the inside? Did you any extra material to strengthen it?

no no dont need cause the solvent melt the plastics and make one body together"thumbsup"

Looking forward to what you come up with, I always enjoy your threads."thumbsup"

I cut mine on my 12" DeWalt chop saw, it was a little scary, although it worked.

Tks Guys....

Sorry for the mess.....

Worked on axles also....

Some works installing the upgrades and made some m4 threads

Sure lot o steering...

Made the panhard bar....with my little bender..

Here you are..

no interferences so is good!

Changed the axial rodends ... the worst part in the new scx10 2 kit!

Some 1,5mm spacer to target the same original axial leghts

The rodends are bigger so needed some little trim...

Mouting all on the rig... Rc4wd 90 rrd/King shocks... later changed with 80mm Kings

To be cotinued.."thumbsup"

Had to trim front and rear Fender and Made the slides to hold the body

Quite hard to have the right ride height

cutted the rear shock stands and Made some custom with a sheet of 1.5mm iron

New Rc4wd 70mm rear shocks.... with a silicon spacer inside to reach 65 length

Worked on the Kings with some associated slime that is a great lube for the silicon rings

Pieces before get definitively installed

seems ok now... It's a roller
