The Rc4wd Marlin Crawler is a great stock crawler, but it can always be better.
In my endeavour to try and make my trucks look more scale with smaller tires, I inevitably made my Marlin Crawler less capable. But as it turns out in stock form, it’s a really capable truck, even climbing a section in this film area with ease that some of my linked suspension trucks have struggled with. I think it mostly has to do with having less flex working in its favour and not getting flexed out and flopping over, who knew. But it’s time for some aftermarket love. So no, I’m not getting rid of my Marlin, it’s one of my favourites after all. It’s getting all the good stuff from A&m, flat skid, reverse shackle with high clearance bumper and anti wrap bar. Also going on it are some Axial wild boar drive shafts (I don’t know how but the stock ones are still good) and ar44 axles. The stock springs are getting broken in so they will stay for a while yet.
As always, thanks for watching. Stay tuned, and I hope you join me on the next adventure!
