well i am about to make a trip to charlotte, n.c. with the G.F.

For those of y'all who have been there, is there anything that you would recommend doing/seeing.

basically anything.

we will probably hit up some attractions during the day and eat both lunch and dinner somewhere and then hit the bars up at night

sucks i cant carry the crawlers with me

Go to Lowes Speedway and take the van tour. It is amazing that those big ole vans can run the speeds they do! You can check out the Race shops too. They are everywhere!

Forget where it was, seems close to the airport, but do not go anywhere near a resturaunt called Chedders, or Cheddars. It's this ghetto sit-down type resturaunt and is the worst place I've ever been. Doubt you'll be anywhere near it, but just a heads up.

I'll have to check that out. do you remember how expensive it was? I can't remember but I did something similar at talledega and it was sort of pricey

The Penguin, Bill Spoons BBQ, Mac's BBQ, D.D. Peckers Wing Shack, Lupie's Cafe, and Pike's are all really good.

Village Tavern, Rock Bottom, Southend Brewery, and Hickory Tavern are all decently nice restaurants.

Mickey and Mooch is my favorite nicer restaurant. Probably the best steak I've ever had.

All the Hickory Taverns have pretty good bars. Angry Ale's is usually alive every night.

The Whitewater Center just outside of Charlotte is pretty cool. They have got some nice trails and its just a cool place to see. I think they have a restaurant/bar/patio right next to the course. If you brought your RC I'm sure you could run a few lines there."thumbsup"
