The Transformer T1e Stealth

Glad your parts made it back home safely. Glad the build is moving along quickly. Hope to see you competing at Ocoee in Oct "thumbsup"

Thanks Ryan ! It should/hope it's albe to be on the rocks by the end of next week.. And should have some good powerplants by oct and ready to compete as long as the new addition to the family doesn't decide to come early....

Well after a few hours at harvo's this evening we tore my rig apart got the MIP bypass kit in the shocks links and chassis all set up . Motors on but we had to call it a night to get the kids to bed but all we liked is doing a final Harvo touch on the shock springs and hooking the electronics up... Huge thanks to Harvo for all of your help ! "thumbsup"

Well I got to drive the rig today just for a sec . Everything felt really good shocks are buttery smooth . Just gotta put some black and tacky on the gears cut the corner off the battery mount for tire clearance and put my KK skins on . As of right now rtr without my skins I'm at 3lbs 15oz that's with shaved rovers with clued plastic wheels . I will get some pics up tomorrow hopefully but definitely Saturday

Sorry this weekend has been a rush but I did get a chance to run up to the Olympic center for a couple hours today and Harvo and Pdog7 just happened to be there so I ran a few packs with them the rig was doing very well I am very pleased with the stealth .

I know I know I'm slacking on pics I'm sorry .I got my D_Lux G10 wheels today and they are awesome never been a big fan of the solid face wheels but I like the looks of these . They have a gloss finish and I was expecting it to look more like delrin but I like the glossy look to them.. "thumbsup" to Erik and they are beadlocks at just under 1 inch wide and they weight in at 1.3 oz each if my scale is accurate

Can't remember the last weekend I wasn't there. If you look at the Google sat view of the place you can see me there 8)

Reminds me of when Josh (xrra_tj) was still around. His red toyota truck could be seen in the google aerial imagery of Rhodhiss dam where he practiced most of the time. I only jab at ya cuz I'm jealous you've got such a nice place so close to you

So close ? it's like a 30 min drive for us .....:ror:

Exactly...that'd feel like I only stepped out of my back door to go to that place. The closest location we have for comp use to where Iive is 1.5hrs away  I'm from east TN originally and miss it a lot.

I know. And I know ;-) That's the reason I said it .

I have been having some issues with my knuckle weights rubbing my wheels badly so I ordered some VP knuckle weights for the ax10 8 degree knuckles and the VP weights weigh 3.3 oz so I went into the garage and ground them down to 2.5 oz per side and that turned out great . Ill post some pics of the VP weight mod tomorrow ASAP . Just waiting on my tires to get a true rtr weight and some pics of it on the rocks

Truck was looking good Sunday Jason. You need run it as much as possible anywhere possible to get those foams broken in. I think that may have been some of the grip problem... along with that link mount. Did you get a chance to move it yet?
