"The Silverback" a TTC Sami.

Very cool "thumbsup"
Looks mean as hell!

batts and prop tank look great on there!

Thanks! A lil paint should go a long way on this one.

looks very badass. I love me a low rig, they work very well. Ive been thinking of doing the long tube mod instead of the ar60's as well. "thumbsup"

Appreciate it. I cant express how happy I am with the axles. The only downfall Ive ran into is figuring out the steering links. I want to go with Ti so I may PM Chaotic and see if he has an answer.

Steering is done!

Chaotic Crawlers Ti links. I sent them some crappy measurements and somehow a set of links that fit PERFECT showed up in the mail. I wish my camera showed better detail. The pics just dont do much to show how nice these are.

With all the adjustment at the C's I may have gotten a little carried away. I think I will adjust them foward just a hair when its all said and done.

Also, I'm having a hard time deciding on what to do with the side panels. I mainly just want them on for a little color contrast and to tie in with the hood panel but I dont know if it might be a lil too much. If they stay they will get the same scale bolts as the hood.

So any opinions............?

Got the chassis painted. Cant go wrong with flat black.

I planned on getting some paint on the body too but rain sent me inside. I did manage to get the axles lubed and locktightened. All ready to bolt up and do work.

Wow, its been a while since this ones been updated.

I haven't quit on it though. Its been slowly getting attention along with my other rigs. Most of the detail work is about finished. Just a few minor things in the bed area. Then its wire it up and break shit time!

Appreciate the compliments. Its been a fun build so far.

I just wanted to post this pic too. Good view of the madness of the front links and the inner fenders.

I really dig this build. It is mean and capable looking!

Thanks man, I havnt had a chance to give it an official test yet but, on the bench and from what little I have driven it, it feels so well balanced and planted. Much more consistent feeling than my other scalers.

I'm just glad to see that it kept such a low stance even with the 4" shocks. I guess it just comes down to good chassis design. I got lucky when I got my hands on this one.

I hope the bodywork holds up to the abuse that the chassis and drivetrain are built to take!

Not much of an update but I did add a few finishing touches. Just more stuff to hunt for in the rocks but it looks good in the pics.

And you know how it goes...........

things sick nice work

Thanks!

Built a batt. tray and wired up the electronics then went and ripped up the yard.

Also shoulda painted on the inside like I was supposed too. Ive had good luck with Krylon Fusion paints in the past so I didnt think it would be a problem. This wasnt a Fusion paint though. It was some sort of Krylon metallic and it just cracks and peels. I dont have the skills or knowledge to save it but luckily I do have a small horde of TR bodies. I hate to sacrifice another but what you gonna do?

I really like the stance and scale detail. Starting a ttc build myself so i will looking at your rig for ideas. Nice work.
