This clod I had years ago, selfmade alu chassis, longer wheelbase so that the body fits better than the original.

My latest "Old School" Clod Crawler

I've been into RC Crawling every since the early days. Over the years I must have built over 20+ crawlers. So recently going through my parts I found a set of Clod Axles. Searching another parts place I found a chassis I had used a number of years ago and the thought struck me to build an "Old School" Super Crawler! I had all the parts they just needed to be tweaked and put together. Below is the end result! Voila! The Wyoming crawler is resurrected. I'm happy with it. We will see how she does out on the rocks when the snow goes away here in a month or two.

Manta Chassis
Stainless Steel Links
1/4 Scale Steering Servos
HPI GT2 tires mounted on Proline Wheels
55t Motors: front with 7t pinion, rear with 6t pinion.
Mamba Monster ESC programmed to Crawler Mode
20A CC BEC
Orange Rx
Spektrum DX3C radio

One of if not THE biggest/heaviest and beefiest CLOD axle rigs ever to grace the computer screens!!!

Solid proof CLOD axle tech was beyond its time that was able to build and thrash a narrow little axle to take on a 24 inch wheelbase, 18inch track width, 35lbs rig with 8.5 inch tall tires!!! Tire diameter is the axle snapper.... RC4WD CLOD XVD shafts are BEEF!
