The best of my mountains hiking & crawling

Hello again friends, I continue the series of pics of my outings with Emaxx.

This time I leave the mountains and meadows in the north to get closer to a semi-desert area surrounding a military shooting facilities. Clearly that
was festive day..

Trail #39 deals on the work of building a road and your machines are in the thread the best and the beast of highway --.

Trail #40 Bardenas Reales. Semi-arid and Firing range [Artillery and military aviation]

I know nothing of planes, perhaps an old Phantom that now only serves as a bulls-eye.
Like a painted orange tank a little further. This image is taken with a 12X zoom

Huge piles of dried mud beside the road, it rains very little in this region but when it does form huge rivers of mud,
the tractors can only come to the rescue of stranded 4x4

I tend to insure the Emaxx as it passes through places where I could not stop a roll over.

One place we could go, but in which I had serious difficulties to descend.

I try to hike with my Emaxx two or three times a month, especially in winter, although not always possible.

This area is ideal for running all kinds of RC's, one of the few places where you can enjoy a Baja 5B or a FG Monster 1/5 without bothering anyone.
There are also areas for scales, especially near dry riverbeds.

I liked the scenery so much that two weeks later I returned to climb to a summit known as Pilates Balcony or step down the Deer Pass, incredible as i
t seems there is a place called like that in this desert.

Here are some pictures of the second excursion

Trail #41 El Rallon, Deer pass.

Start of the solitary, long excursion, in a deserted dirt road about to collapse.
On this occasion and due to extremely dry soil did not want my dog to accompany me.

Mount Rallon that I went with the Emaxx, I was unable to get close to the cliff edge because of the feeling of emptiness and wind.

In this pic is a path of about 600 m long which descends diagonally across the ridge, more or less at the center of the image.
Is used by some MTB's, and soon by the first approaching Emaxx.
It is the third time I try to find this Deer pass and I'm finally a few hundred meters

In the end, about a kind of huge natural playground slide in which once entered can not stop.
elra017.jpg

Walking on top of the ravine 'Barranco de los cabrones' , sometimes too close as the terrain below is often hollow.

Back to the beginning of the excursion, 3 endless miles in a straight line :-(

Trial #48 Around an abandoned mining area. This mining has been exploited since the Roman Empire until 1983.

According to a statement from an engineer who visited them in 1803:Four hundred men working for two hundred years was not enough to bore all these ga
lleries.

Bond certificate year 1905.
