------ Team LERK Night/Day GTG------

So I guess some guys are now not going to go to Santa Rosa. Thats sucks, not sure if I will go maybe I will hit up the Vasco spot then.

Or maybe even Mt Diablo....Yeah maybe that instead depending on how many people want to crawl.

So I guess you never got an answer huh 209, heard the comp was fun too. Need to get out to some comps for sure in the next couple months.

Yea I read all about that event on their thread.... Looks like us LERK guys missed out on some fun!

I'm waiting to hear JRock talk about evening mini comps in Manteca... Perfect for me since it's on my way home.

Noodle, are you going to the RCOTC season final?? That shit is gonna be OFF THE CHAIN!!

Posted this in Central Valley thread but some guys directed me here...

Im near the Kohls spot I saw at the beginning of a local thread. Thought I would make myself known if I get a chance to show up to something.
Had a comp rig when all this got started in sac and reno some years ago now but only have scale/nostalgia rigs now.

Not sure I can get away with adding another crawler, so it will have to be these two for now until I have an area for hobby stuff again. The Losi five t is hard to fit even in the garage.

Might look to make the TF2 a little more capable if neccessary, I went to the less capable side of "scale" crawling.

So is that a Bengal or a Savannah cat? They are freaking awesome....."thumbsup"

Bengal

Replaced dead "love of life" cat... He's an ass but he doesnt do it on purpose so I deal with it.

Never had an indoor cat before the wife either but that guy would get stolen in a hearbeat.

Also never felt furr like that either, I'm hoping to make some sort of man accessory out of his furr when he dies or pisses me off enough.

:lmao: I like you already:mrgreen: Thats some funny ass sh$@ right there. So yea you got some great lookin rigs there and you are more then welcome to come out anytime. We have been doing gtg's with the minis here at my house but it's about time to start hitting khols up again.

Just keep an eye on this thread for all the stuff we do and we'll be starting our season series for the scalers around October"thumbsup" Well see you soon on the rocks lol.

Sounds good. I actually almost got a micro rock crawler and still might, the mini stuff looks to in-between a "scalish" truck and regular comp rig in performance.

But I'll buy a mini if most people have them and I can run one without too many mods.

Thats why I liked the 2.2 class when it first started with shafty's. One motor, one steering servo and a cheap radio if you cant afford anything decent to show off...

I was never a fan of minis til recently when I was offered an opportunity to drive one in a comp setting... I was infected with "mini madness" and now I've got a mini of my own.

If you're really thinking about buying a mini, send me a PM.

I've got a brand new MRC Pro roller that would be a perfect starting point for a mini comp rig!!

When is the next comp?
