------ Team LERK Night/Day GTG------

Yea I've heard of RCP before. Those bodies are distinctly different but o guess either one would work fine.
The LHS in Stockton has a bunch of the ones for the mini erevo. Same price too. Maybe I'll just grab one there.
Thanks for your help

So if I'm looking at the picture correctly, you just trimmed off the front fenders and did a lil trimming around the "motor" area and it fit just right... Does that sound about right?

yes. "thumbsup" You will have to trim the nose to fit your servo set up at full stuff. Mine still needs some trimming in this early photo

Yeah Escalon for me, let's see we got Oakdale, Modesto, The Hills, Livermore, Ione / Jackson?, Santa Rosa? And Lodi;-)

Looking for some guys to run with?

James pretty much covered the broad spectrum of LERK... including Lodi "thumbsup"

What type of rig are you running Heath? Scaler... Comp rig... Mini??

Seems that most of us have at least two of those three.

I've heard rumor that a few of us also dabble a bit in Short course racing stuff... But that hasn't been confirmed........

I have a XR10, a Wraith with some scale stuff and VP goodies , and a Gmade R1 with some minor mods. Got a couple X-ray on road cars a Losi xxx-scb and a xxx-sct ( I think that's it )

All you need now is a 1.9 scaler for next seasons Rock Hard Series. Dork Vader also has a couple more RCOTC events left this season, you can run your Wraith in.

I've been looking for some people to crawl with, is this group open to new members?

Heath

Hey Heath were always open to new drivers that want to come out and play with toy trucks as much we like to play with them"thumbsup"

We do a series for scalers and CVRC does the comp rig events but for now it'll be GTG's until the series starts around October, So keep your eye's on this thread and I usually pm new guy's with info if were going out somewhere.

Jason

CONFIRMED but I'm only the pit Guy not much racing for me I let my boys take care if that. There 9 & 10 and can prob whip my a$$ on the track.
Yea Ive only been to the track once myself, just to check it out.
Looks like alot of fun, but id really hate to get on the track and get smoked by a couple of kids lol... ALthough if its your kids James, I wouldnt feel too bad. Jojo already kicks my ass (and a few others im sure) with his scaler rig!!

You need to put that short course rig to work. The kids class is separated from the novice class. If we can get enough of us we can start repin Team L.E.R.K. at the race track"thumbsup" I pretty much take the boys to the track through the summer and scale it up the rest of the year. Try to make it out to the next race on June 30th. You should see me and Eric at the track recruiting new LERK members for next season:ror: I think I already have about three intrested:mrgreen:

As far as Jojo whopping us with his scaler well almost all of us in the club have been there at one point or another!

Yeah, if you have been to the track before it's way different now, they re-did the course about a month ago... Way sicker now! I don't race but the track is about 5 min from my pad, so I go there after it cools down and just hang out with the guys if I'm not busy.

Also Jojo has taken me down a time or two...They don't call him the giant killer for nothin. :ror:

SCX-10 is definitely the way to go! Parts are relatively inexpensive and readily available.
Plus there are endless possibilities when it comes to making it "yours".

Yea James, Im all about getting my rig on the track and reppin Team LERK... but my job REQUIRES me to work on Saturdays so its very hard for me to be at the track for racetime.
Im also in desperate need of four new track tires... Something about asphalt and soft race tires dont work well together haha!!
