------ Team LERK Night/Day GTG------

I've got a Slash 2wd that I just finished building. It's got a custom Long travel suspension setup because I was planning to build a Baja Bug out of it.
It's got the VXL-3s ESC and Velineon motor. It's complete except for radio system.

Just a heads up, we have moved the next RCOTC to Utica Reservoir for June 3rd. We have also added a mini comp hosted by JRock.. Bring em if you got em. "thumbsup"

Man wish i could make it out, I just havent had any time to even mess with the rigs. Though I have had some late nights working on the Samurai. Anyone know the best place to buy some paint?:roll:

J and I ran jojo's class 1 rig last night to test it out and it was a blast this class is going to be fun.

So I guess the question should be asked... Are we talking about a "mini scaler" class 1 comp series or is this the real mini comp class? I guess what I'm asking is mini scaler or mini comp style rigs???

I believe that the LERK SORCA comps will have the class 1 scaler class. The 1.9 mini comp class is supposed to be adopted by someone else. If not we will either hold 1.9 comps on different days or events. But I am not the decession maker on this matter. So maybe it would be a good time to ask for input. JRock let's start talking about what we are going to do for next season I know what we want to do, but it would be way to hard to get all three classes in one day. To be quite honest I am torn between the two. The little I drove the class 1 rig yesterday it reminded me of why I started with scalers, the real ness of how the rig responds and the 1.9 comp rigs got me hooked again after my last course finish at the final event.

Wish the mind trick would work on my wife, hahah. I am going to a wedding in Reno that weekend or I would be there.

I figured someone was going to say that, just go to the local hobby store and pay the big bucks.

JRock I am going to try to make it out Friday to mess around for a little bit. Is is only Mini's or scalers too?

Hey, its the only place I know to get the right paint on or off line.

I use Krylon for plastic and it works ok and you get 3 x the amount of as those little cans

I used Krylon Fusion which is made for plastic like James said. It's super cheap and works pretty well. Just don't try to spray a second coat... It tends to start peeling."thumbsup"
