Szczerba’s CR-01 Build (#62) Arctic Truck

Thanks guys. Got half a battery pack in it a few days ago. Tons of fun. Front end is light when the trailer is hooked up but still alot of fun.
Need to shorten up some of the wiring.

This rig is awesome! Went to Iceland for an anniversary a few years ago and saw many of those large artic rigs set up for glacier tours. Hope you don't mind when I shamelessly steal the idea and make something similar. Already digging through my parts lot.

Do you have any clips showing the articulation? Curious how much range you have with that cantilever setup.

Too much flex but too lazy to make it less. Would be easy to limit the shocks or adjust arms. These are the upgrade Tamiya shocks and are ultra smooth.
6” box.

That is a lot of flex!

I think I've seen those wheels on one of your previous builds. Did you 3d print those or have some that did them for you?

The flex can be reduced, just too lazy to mess with it.
On the wheels, I had friend design them and another print em.

Thing is a beast!!! Bet it would be great in some snow.

By the time I finished the build, we were out of the snow season!

Just saw this guy in the For Sale section, damn I wish I had it in my RC budget to buy this!!!

This is a seriously cool rig, excellent job.

Thanks. As usual, most of my builds are to get the idea out of my head and into RC form. I usually drive 'em a few times then send them out into the wild for others to enjoy. I have bought or traded back for a few that regretted in doing so. :ror:

Some pictures I forgot to upload for this thread.
