Super 300/300HD's

Egressor knuckles with ax10 chubs fit 300hd correct??

But it needs to be EGRESSor's AX knuckles made for XR shafts (v5xr), and not his standard AX knuckle.

Like gunnar said, if you look at the distance between the standrd AX chub & knuckle setup, therre is significantly less distance (where the cvd or universal joint it) when compared to that of XR/Wraith chub & knuckle.

Felsenfest v5xr knuckle (made for standard vertical kingpin AX chub (works with Super 300 HD's & standard AX chub

Fenselfest standard AX knucke (works with standard Super 300 and AX chub

Notice the difference in distance between the kingpin hole, and the two holes that secure the bearing carrier to the kingpin plates. The XR version has a greater distance between them.

If you have an AX cvd and an XR universal handy, and compare the two, you'll see why this added distance is necessary.

Another product that will be adding itself to the list is the all new 300M Second gears for Berg. For those of you interested they will be the same price as the 3rds.

I have one question, what is the O.D. of the shaft on the diff end for the 300HD builders set, I want to know if they will be compatible with the V6 shafts for the Super Bully diff? They are the 8mm stub shafts with 6mm shafts (.233") and the tang that goes in the diff gear is .216" so that is the dimension needed to work with the Bully diff.

The builders set doesn't have a tang, it is simply roudnd. The builder must cut to length needed and dremel in there own style tang. So of you need it flat and .20" thick you can make it that

I know they are unfinished on the diff end, but to work with the Bully they would need to be a minimum of .216" O.D. to be able to mill the flats to fit.
So are you saying the shafts are .200" O.D.?

I was using the .200 as an example. I'm pretty sure the shaft is a 6mm diameter. Which is .236".

So if I'm running hot racing axle hub retainers with integy steering block parts (bearings not bushings) which set would I order?

Thank you, if they are 6mm all the way to the end they will work with the Bully diff "thumbsup". So I will need Wraith c hubs and knuckles that are the 8* type also and mill splines on the end of the Bully tubes.

I think killing splines would be over kill. Instead of using the existing "clock slot" on the XR chub, just drill yourself new holes (like the AX style chub) and you won't need to worry about castor angle changes.

The tolerances of those parts will not be compatible with anything but a 3Racing cvd.:flipoff::ror:

completetion date from the machinist was supposed to be a week from tomorrow. though due to where the pre-order has ended up size wise we may have to push that a week or so to get everything cut. I had a good overrun built in to the original order of parts, I had to bump that twice to try to fill everyones wants/needs. Im sure by the time I get the parts the overun that i put back into the numbers will be eaten up as well, though I didnt want to slow down the machinist anymore by having to go back and cut more of something that was already done.

Long and short of it, I expect everything (fingers crossed) ready to ship by 2 weeks from monday."thumbsup"

I looked thru the thred and have not seen it covered yet. Will the HDs work with beef tubes in wraith axles with VP wraith knuckles and vp wraith chubs?

Thanks to those of you that understand the product and have been answering questions for me. I was out of town workin and then camping and smack dab inbetween Blowing out an ankle and busting a foot all in a 5' fall loading to camping"thumbsup"

parts are going slow as usual. though ill update as soon as I can

Hobbled by the machine shop today after getting re-casted, prodded for a finish date and will have a re-vised finish date in the morn. I will update this in the am after I get an answer from him.

They should. Anything for the wraith/xr will work with these universals. You might want to check the inner diameter of the beef tube though. As long as they're larger than 6mm, you're OK there also.

One thing to check though, is weather or not the screws that hold the lower link mounts will hit. I was doing some custom work with some highlandcrawler shafts, and had to trim grooves into the screws that hold the lower link mounts on, to clear the 6mm diameter shaft properly.

The stock wraith uni-s should be plenty strong enough, unless you're jumping it off of the roof of your 2 story house, then you might have issues:mrgreen:
