Soze finally gets around to the Element Enduro Builder's Kit (AKA: The Pirate Wagon)

I got this Enduro Builder's Kit when it first came out. I've been slowly accumulating parts for this build, and I think now is the right time to finally get it going now that my Sendero is close to being set as-is.

With this build I'll be trying some 3D prints and some other unique parts, but first we'll start with a stock kit build before we start the experimentation.

Follow this build on YouTube

Many of the items I used for this build are listed below on eBay. As an eBay Partner, I may be compensated if you make a purchase.

Part 2 - Electronics

For this part, you'll need your choice of electronics. At the time of building, I didn't have the electronics that I wanted to use figured out yet, so for the time being, I used the stock electronics from my Element Enduro Sendero RTR.

I did not end up completing this step, as I need to do body fitting before going futher. I haven't even decided what body to use!

Appreciate the play by play coverage.

Funny how we take electronics out of one rig because they "need upgrading", yet there still plenty good to get the next project running.

Awesome, I just love my Enduro. Honestly, a huge part of that is likely the shocks. I can’t disagree with your statement, they are definitely the best crawler shocks I have run. How exactly are you using the suspension grease?

The suspension grease is basically "green slime". I use it on the O-rings. At the bottom of the shock body, in the shock cap, even on the shock adjuster to help it move smoothly.

My problem right now is that I'm working on this rig, and building a Gatekeeper concurrently. I'll be putting my Gatekeeper build thread up soon as well, but that build will likely finish before this build.

That's how I fly under the radar on my household budget. My wife would shit if I spent a grand right off the bat, but as long as I get it up and running as cheaply as possible, all of the upgrades don't raise any questions.

Yeah I have become one I guess....

They've made enough variations to keep things interesting and different enough to want to run multiple setups.

Overall though, my MO is to pretty much try at least 1 of each platform. I've got a GMADE GS02F sitting here waiting for me to complete my 2 Element projects, along with upgrades planned for all my other brand rigs.

I do need to start selling some of them off though...

Wait, i thought gs02f is not available yet..? How did you get yours so fast?

Hi all I'm new to this forum... Just so happen that i've just bought the enduro kit.
Planning for an upgrade for the build. Any suggestions whats the most important parts to upgrade first?
Btw thanks soze for the build videos. Its like a heads up sneak preview before i build mine.

You don't really need to upgrade anything yet if you got the kit.

Just add some front weight, some of those 3d printed chassis braces, and maybe later on change the links and add metal pivot balls.

After you drive it for a bit, then you can start looking at what else you want to change.
