Here we go again  I started on this styrene mess to house the widened sumo axles that ended up under a chevy...I got side tracked & the buggy was left for dead on a shelf....madjones was over a few days ago & we got to talking about southern style buggies....So thanks to Mike I started back to work on the left for dead chassis....

Here is the mock up:

Damn dude, there are enough tubes on there to make a sky scraper! It looks good though, definitely looking forward to the progress.

:lmao: Thanks B, way more tube will make its way into the cage....I just don't trust the styrene with the power plant thats going in :ror:

Damn you beat me

I will be watching too! I love the southern buggies. I worked on mine and stopped cause I gotta do the wider axles first. I cant wait!

I have run out of comments for your builds/ :ror:

This looks like it will be a mean monster "thumbsup"

Long wheelbase southern buggies are called rock bouncers I think.
You are correct sir, & this one will bounce like a mofo "thumbsup"

Looks great! Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Thanks guys!

Well I think the pass. side got warped from sitting on the shelf for 8 months, I spent a few hours trying to fix it but gave up on it

So another attempt with something I am more comfortable working with..
Brass

38 tiny tubes 76 fish mouths  my fingers are sore as hell....I think the hard part is done, I will have more pics when my fingers & dremel recover :ror:

What do YOU use to solder with? Which flux and which solder? I don't want to ask anyone else because they're aren't even close to what you're creating!

I wanna learn from the best

Wow! "thumbsup"

Thanks bud!

That takes "Brass" ballz to start a project like this! Great work so far bro"thumbsup"
All I know is brass balls are stronger than styrene ones :lmao: Thanks bro!
LAWDY! This is one of the greatest things i've seen SO FAR. it's only going to get better. subscribed. "thumbsup"

Thanks man! Im not the best though just lots of practice...
For heat I use a Weller 140 to 100 watt gun, flux is water based & solder is 60/40 rosin core .032 dia.

Very nice start!
Thanks bud! your little buggy inspired me to get back to work on this one "thumbsup"

I got a few more tubes done, its starting to take shape.
