south central wi 2014 crawling schedule

If I can figure out how to tig weld aluminum at work, I think I might try my hand at building a ford based 1.9 truggy. See how the small tire guys have to go at it for a change! I don't want the extra weight, otherwise I'd just braze steel. My thoughts are to build off the pro line f250 cab and at least do a rear truggy bed. I'm thinking of trying to build a exo cage but that may be too much.
I'm thinking I am kind of liking this scale thing and wouldn't mind trying to get to some sort of organized event this next year.

That being said, who is willing to help me figure out how to put on a scale type event? I like the idea of the g6, just don't know much about it.

I sat down about 3 years ago to work out the points & comp system, but there was little interest.
There is almost enough guys & trucks to start doing this stuff...
Rich & my self have a pile of course markers.
We can make some rules locally or follow national standards.
Noon?
Parfrey's Glen has water crossings, slick rock, and more.

something like this? I tried brake tube but u can't get non coated line in the state of wi cuz the rusting issue. cleaning every joint and using the lowest setting possible on my mig welder still wasn't strong enuf. solid 3/16 found at any hardware store and a hotter setting works well.
need a few more braces on the front and still working on ideas for the sliders to mount every thing on. as of now it's 1.8 lbs.
dodge body is getting chopped to fit

I might try to get out to pewitts tomarow. got a x-mas family thing today

Today at Parfrey's Glen.
