Sonoma County Crawlers

All: Don't for get to adjust you clocks tonight! The time changes and you don't want to be late for the comp!

Also, there's a rumor (?) that some guys are meeting up at the shop in the morning, 7:30am, and heading down as a group. Tim what's the scoop??

I know Bluc10 (Chris) and I are meeting at the shop around 7am and he's riding down with me.

under 101

It is very crawlable! The water is over the sidewalk a bit more than usual but it was not bad at all. There are pockets of sand from the back flow so you can see that much of it was under water at one time. Feels good to get some crawling in. See you all bright and early in South San Francisco!

I finally had a chance to get down under the 101. Super Cool and I can hit it up every Saturday on my way home.. WOOT WOOT.

So far I've been over there 3 times, and each time there was another dude or two running on the rocks. All the rocks are above the water now, just part of the sidewalk covered, good for cleaning tires. :)

I met Fernando and his girls too. :)

However my shoddy repair ended up bending the CVD pin, fine I have another, snapped off my .05 wrench fixing it on the rocks, then my pinion gear crapped itself. It was fine, I had the kid with me and she was wanting to leave. Regardless, I'll probably be there killing time Saturday after the Shop Closes from now on, unless my unreliable rig continues to be a finiky. Hopefully Jake brings me a pinion gear.... :) Thanks Buddy!

See Ya'll in the AM, I've got the location in my GPS just in case I can't keep up with the Convoy.

Ha, yeah, that's for sure. I'm gonna "kit" my truck at some point this week in preparation for the next comp. I think you were right about my sweet Semi Truck Springs, way to firm.

At least we've got the Heli Skills Contest to look forward to now... :)

Jake Charlie you all did great today at the comp glad to see you there hope to see you all at the ukiah comp

Went to the coast with the family yesterday afternoon ... Man, the wind was blowing up a storm! So we headed over to the Bodega Bay Marina side of the bay, the same way as you would go to Bodega Head .... It was low tide, and we stopped along the bay to turn over rocks. Has anyone crawled that area? It's a lot like Genentech, just break-water rip-rap rocks, but without the big rocks. It would take some stacking to set up some killer lines.

I also took a look at the Bodega Head for the first time! Yeah, I know, where have I been! It looks AWESOME! Main parking lot, head to the right, right? I think we need a GTG out there soon.

Results

Nice work putting up the pictures Jake - Looking at the results I can't see my name on the list because for some reason the window that opens when I click the 2.2 results image is not scrollable? I am below the bottom of my browser window - that is probably not a good sign right ;-)

Try the comp #4 sigup thread, Erik posted the results there as well.
