Sonoma County Crawlers

Ok! Who's been enjoying the dry weather and gettign in some crawl time? I know Mike, Tim and Chad have been working over the S.R. Creek, finding new spots and having fun ....

Lance and Bryan are off to Nevada soon, if the snow storm doesn't halt the comp ....

A few are off to Manteca, if the rains don't fill up the spillway and make the courses a mud bath, crawler style ....

What's everyone else been up too?

Hey jake have we come up with a club name yet, i kinda tune out when every one was fighting over it. Anyway will they still run the comp on sunday if it rains. Vince and i got three truck loads of rock, and put it at his house. maybe you guys can put pressure on him to have an event and we can bb-q up some mexican steak, and show you guy how we do it napa style. "thumbsup"BYO_B or what every you drink tho.

We'll get the club deal figured out after the holidays.

Three loads of rocks? Dude, that should be an awesome course when you guys are done! Keep us informed when it's really ready to crawl, we'll make a day of it!

we need about three more and we will be ready to rock!!! also kelley found some rocks along the new river walk and an going to check it out.

Hey Jake,
our little crew found some new spots along the Russian River, awesome spot. and a nice little spot next the Petaluma River, but the bums that hang out around there kinda suck.but they know were locals,so they dont bother us.

Im trying to keep my truck running,so can make it to one of your comps.

Wes.

manteca

is the manteca event indoor or outdoor? i am concerned about crawling in a downpour as i think my ax rtr wont handle it

Gus: Let us know what you find!

Wes: Keep that rig rolling, the next comp will be sometime in January .... Where along the Russian?

Kil: It's outside. It's gonna be wet. It's gonna be muddy. Not sure who's still going? I'm on the fence right now, depends on the weather report Sat. afternoon ....

Man, it was COLD at the Comp! I forgot how much I HATE being COLD! Had a little fun hanging out with everyone, but man I sucked on the rocks. Could not concentrate, just wanted to get done and get somewhere warm .... Need to plan better for the next sub-zero outing!

As seems to be the case lately, I think Bryan did well .... But the courses were challenging for most drivers. There was a first gate on one course, that 40 most drivers (me included). Still a cool deal to have the comps happening, and I'm looking forward to the next one, Jan 4th.

Despite all the bad weather, I still had a good time and was glad to be there. I want to thank all the people who made this happen and had the nads to show up for some tough as hell courses.

just a heads up

Nor-Calrcrc 2008/2009 series competition #4

I don't have the cool flyer skills that Brandon and Sam have but here is the info and some pics.

Location: Pacific Grove
Date: Sunday January 4, 2009

Tech: 9:00am (will start earlier if possible)
Comp: 9:30am

For those that have never been to this location before, be ready for lots of traction. This spot has more traction than any other location that Nor-Cal has ever held a comp at before. There is lots of varied terrain and there will be some interesting courses.
