Sonoma County Crawlers

On my way back from Thailand now. The race was awesome, the broadcast was great, we had a record breaking 5000+ viewers with us on Sunday, and hovered right at 2000+ the whole week, even with the Time Zone differences!

Wishing I would've brought my Scaler, the hotel had some SICK landscaping. No, I didn't get any pictures of it.

Great time, see you guys at the Shop!

So, I'm already itching to do some scaling. Who's in for Wednesday? I'll also be sending an Uber-Text tomorrow to round up the Posse.

Super Crawlin Wednesday Suckas.... Oh wait, It's supposed to rain aint it.... maybe a 101 Skale? Dave's garage? Who's got the covered spot?

Also, Frank was kind enough to remind me it was time for another Skaler GTG. My first though was a 101 Skale A Thon. I have some cool ideas for a course, the center section was pretty open, could be a good spot to run Up, touch the wall (with the truck), run down, with 3-4 gates. Combined times, lowest wins a group hug.

I'm gonna save any more calls for prizes for next year. Thinking maybe the 3rd Saturday in Dec, the 20th??

Whatchathink?

yeah,it's nice when your dad owns his yota super store..i doubt Paul did any of the fab work.i bet Fabworks did it..that thing must look pretty going down the freeway and Paul's ego is about as big as his truck.
but that's just my opinion.....

Bought not built huh?

That's a crying shame if it's a mall crawler.

a little bit of both.
some of it is his dad's leftovers, and im sure a lot of it comes from trades, and fabworks does all of yotaman's fab work..

but i will give him credit for building a sick truck.and he does wheel the shit of his truck's...

i personally dont like Paul very much, which we dont need to get into here.he just has a big ego, because of his dad.

Alrighty Then!

Didn't mean to ruffle feathers, just thought it was a nice rig .... Not that others aren't nice as well ... "thumbsup"

sorry Jake,
it's just a personal issue.i cant wait till i see him broke down on the trail some day.so i can feed him some BS and just leave and not come back..

next time i'll keep my opinion's to myself......

Me, Dogger and his Bro are gonna go do a Shiloh Run in about an hour.

It's off Shiloh rd from the 101, go west till it dead ends, make the right and the park is just on the left. We park on the road and walk in, you go up and back past the Picnic area above the Parking Lot, follow the trail down the little stairs, then make the right up the creek. One of my favorite spots for sure.

Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to make the upgrade to lipo, I'm not very savy with electronics so I was wondering if you guys can reccomend a good easy to use balance charger. Any input would be helpful, thanks.

None are "easy" to use in the way you just plug n go. Most have settings that need to be done at least one time the very first time you use the charger. After that, plug in hit start, wait for the beeps

The ThunderPower Charger is probably one of the easiest, it's all done with 2 buttons and easy to read menus. The Balancer is there to tell you if it gets way out of wack, and has a special balance mode.

The Onyx is very popular in this area, but doesn't have a Balancer, so you use a stand alone outside balancer while your charging or when ever actually.

TP Charger is 109
Onyx is 80
Balancer is 30-40

Went to Flat Rock today, did a little fishing and to do some crawling, but there's lots of water flowing.but, i did get a few sponser me photos, and i put some 2.2 tsl swampers on.these tire's rock
