A long time back Brandon threw one of those in a package that was coming my way. I asked WTF and he just said "it's part of our new project". What an asshole.

Pre-ordered. I'll enjoy the build and sell it off to the lazy kids that drive traxxas RTRs if its not faster than my rail.

The Terra Buggy has Axial toughness and 4wd going for it.

The rail has custom everything, 2wd is about 1/8" scale and has long travel OFNA shocks.

Both will be equipped with slingshot rear tires. No paddles up front because this isn't iceland.

Both with identical powertrains.

Loser gets sold!

Thanks for the pics Badger. What is inside of the diffys as far as a locker go, is Axial still using the AX-10 style 'Iron Cross' spool? I'm liking this new kit, hopefully individual drive train parts will be available so we can keep using Axial parts for our own Frankenstein creations.

It's a tuneable fluid diff just like an 1/8 scale race buggy or truggy. 3 of them- front, center, rear.

most def ordering one of these when there in stock, was looking at getting a 4x4 slash to complement my 1/16th scaler but there up there in price, and im not the biggest fan of traxxas's limited sized batt compartments..... i have a 2.5 revo i convereted years ago and pretty much have stock in 4s5000s that i run in parrallel for 4s10k and run 45+ minutes in the road at 60+ mph and 30 min+ beating the crap out off it off road. this would be perfect for a monster max and a lepoard 36x74 in 1400 kv and run it on one 4s5k. i was lookin at the new hpi's and there sweet but for 600 id rather get this and have the futaba radio hitec servo and castle esc/ motor of my choice for the same price. woulda been cool if it was a solid rear axle but i bet it wouldnt be hard to hook up output adapter use a punisher shaft with a ax10 or wraith rear end 4 linked..... only thing i see with this is locking the center diff up... i just really want it for the hankook dynapro mts same tires i run on my full size rig...

No it's does not have the iron cross spool. You can just add two more spider gears to lock the diff if you want.

If you haven't checked my thread on rcshortcourse in the last couple days you may want to since I've added more pics.

Thanks for the reply. I followed the link and went to page 10 but I didn't see anything, but then again I'm not a paid member for that site so any linked pics don't show up for me.

Hey I mis-spoke regarding the iron cross. It does NOT have the iron cross spool like the crawlers, I don't know what I was thinking when I posted that.

But to lock out the diff, all you need to do is add two more spider gears to lock all 4 spider gears together.
