Something a 10.2 couldn’t give me.

Unfortunately the weather in Buffalo is not my friend at the moment so I haven’t got a chance to run it yet. But I expect good things from it when the weather breaks.

Well I got tired of waiting for j concepts tires to come back in stock so rc4wd Goodyear wrangler mtr’s in 4.75 size were ordered up and the last purchase from my lhs due to corona virus temporary shut downs in ny state. I have these tires in 4.19 also and really like them a lot. I like the way they look on the vanquish wheels too. I did put stock hyrax foams in because the extra diameter of the 4.75 rc4wd foams felt too hard. The 4.19 work well with the sock foams. I also got a new battery because my lectron pro battery dropped a cell and common sense rc is garbage on the customer service front and only offered me a discount for a new battery. It had a total of 20 minutes of run time in my basement before dying.
Yes I did have my lvc set on my 1080. I had to move my power switch due to the new hobbystar battery being bigger. The passenger nav screen was a perfect spot. Hopefully get it out on the rocks soon.

The latest with the ongoing Capra project (which I think is done for now). Went down to an 11 tooth pinion, the drag brake actually holds now, before it would roll back fairly quickly on an incline. Installed supershafty front knuckles, super nice parts. Vitavon brass 3rd member. And finally got a dig servo that works every time and is rated for high voltage. Torq brand I found on amain. For the most part it’s the same as the reefs 99. Rated a little lower on power but still plenty strong and it comes with an aluminum servo horn. All for $35.
