Ok, boys 'n girls, it's finally gonna happen! The first event of the 4th Annual Snowcrawl Series will be held Sunday, Jan. 8th, 2017
Mark your calendars!
What: Snowcrawl 4.1 indoor obstacle course
Where: Phil's Garage in Fridley (PM Orange58Crush or Dna4engr for directions, or arrange to follow someone)
When: Sunday, Jan 8th, 11:00 a.m. to whenever
Who: Anyone with an electric powered RC and a desire to see how it, and you, perform next to some seriously badass rigs and very good drivers.
Why: If I gotta tell ya that, don't come. Seriously!
How: Runs start at 11 sharp. If there is a big turnout, we may not have time to come back, so try to be on time.
1.9 rigs will go first, followed by 2.2's, then Pro's. Depending on the height (or lack thereof) of the Mercury we may run an outside race.
Bring any rig you want, it's all for the fun of it, and there's plenty of that!
Leave your parts/tool boxes in your vehicle, the garage is small. If you have to work on your rig, you are welcome to bring your stuff in then.
Wear winter boots...the garage is heated, but the concrete doesn't warm up.
$5 per person, so I can afford to run the heater!
New elements include the Spiral Staircase and the Leap of Faith. The Rock Pile will be a brand new configuration, and I'm hoping to reconfigure the Overhead Horseshoe, and the Swinging Suspension Bridge, also.
If you're bored Saturday morning, the 7th, c'mon over and help get everything ready for Sunday.
Mark your calendars!
