Shock oil weight

I ran stock springs and different oil ranging from 100cst to 400cst. I’m mainly trailing in the woods with the odd rock climbing here and there. Lighter oil made the rig react more “realistic” in a way but the heavier oil looked like it added more performance climbing. From my point of view. I’m no expert either, I believe the only way to find out is to experiment with different springs and oil rating. I’m still changing every run 😌

I'm happy with Team Associated 15w 150cSt shock oil in my stock defender. I like it compared to the 30w that it comes with. Not too bouncy. Also added an o-ring and shaved down the spacer so it moves up and down more smoothly.

Side incline and not too bouncy. Wish I recorded it level. Was holding the phone slanted the whole time.
