I carry a fire extinguisher with me now just in case. I live and go crawling and trailing where things like the Marshall Fire (Dec 2021) are becoming more normal and I don't want to be the cause.
Someone in the comments said the video showed that one battery was pretty much untouched by the fire, and this was confirmed by the OP who was there. Given that it was a two battery setup, it may have been that one of the batteries was discharged, so the charged battery immediately dumps a bunch of energy into the other pack.

Bummer, for sure! With something this expensive, it may be smart to invest in a fireproof battery holder. For the rigs sake, or your pocketbook! Or just strap the battery into the rig with the fireproof bag.
This will hold a 5000mAh 4s. Fiberglass resin the sides and bottom then bolt it down to the frame or original battery holder.
